Registration Deadline<\/strong><\/span> – After the registration deadline the Park District will determine if the program or class will be held or cancelled. Once this decision is made registrations will be taken until the class or program is full or begins. Registrations received after the deadline will be charged an additional $5, will be placed on a waiting list and assigned to teams as space permits.<\/p>\nFees Policy<\/span> –\u00a0 <\/strong>Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration by cash, check, or credit card. Families with more than two children registering for the same program will receive a multi-participant discount. Pay for two children and the third or more child\u2019s fee is 50% of the registration fee or pay no more than $300. No registrations will be accepted without the proper payment.\u00a0<\/p>\nDefinition of Residency<\/span><\/strong> -A Winnebago Park District resident is described as residing within the Winnebago Park District\/Township taxing boundaries. A Park District Resident pays taxes to the Park District. If the participant attends Winnebago schools that does not automatically make them a WPD District Resident. Proof of residency, such as a driver\u2019s license, or tax statement may be required.<\/p>\nRefunds<\/span> <\/strong>-A full refund will be issued if the Park District reschedules or cancels a class. Refunds requested after the start of a program will not be issued. Online Registration refunds will be charged a $2 service fee if canceled prior to the start of the season.\u00a0<\/p>\nWaiver Information<\/strong> <\/span>–\u00a0 <\/span>We, the undersigned participant or parents\/guardians, understand that the Winnebago Park District provides no insurance coverage for medical costs <\/span>and other damages arising out of any participation in the Park District Programs.\u00a0 Any insurance coverage will be that furnished by the undersigned, \u00a0<\/span>and we are waiving and releasing all claims for injuries sustained during participation in the program(s).\u00a0 We release the instructors, supervisors,\u00a0 <\/span>owners, independent contractors, and Park District members from any claims of injury or damage including any transportation associated with <\/span>the program(s).\u00a0 A parental signature and mandatory attendance at informational meetings prior to the activity are required for participants under the age <\/span>of 18.\u00a0 We do hereby give authorization and consent for our child\/children listed above to participate in, to have photos published, and be transported <\/span>as needed for the designated Winnebago Park District Programs.\u00a0 We give authorization to obtain medical treatment for my child in the event <\/span>that the parent(s) and emergency contact cannot be reached. I understand and acknowledge that my enrollment and my participation in WPD programs <\/span>is wholly voluntary and that there are physical risks and hazards connected with participation, including, but not limited to the rick of communicable <\/span>disease such as COVID-19.
