Position Overview<\/b><\/h4>\n

Looking for a fun, meaningful summer job? We\u2019re hiring an energetic and responsible Summer Camp Counselor to help create a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for our campers. This position is ideal for high school students, college students\/recent grads, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and being active.<\/span><\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Do<\/b><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Under the guidance of the camp director, supervise campers and help ensure a safe, positive environment<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Help plan, organize, and lead daily activities and outings including field trips<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Lead and assist with activities such as sports, games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and group activities<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behavior<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist with snack\/lunch times<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Help with setting up and cleaning up activities<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work closely with other counselors and camp staff<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Be a positive role model for campers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Who We\u2019re Looking For<\/b><\/h4>\n

    • Incoming high school juniors or seniors or college students\/recent grads\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Enjoy working with children and being active<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Reliable, responsible, and punctual<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to work well as part of a team<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Previous camp or childcare experience is a plus, but <\/span>not required<\/b>\u2014training provided<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to work outdoors the majority of the time, as long as weather permits<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Part-Time (Permanent) Program\/Operations Administrative Assistant\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

        The <\/span>Winnebago Park District (WPD) <\/b>is seeking a <\/span>Part-Time Program\/Operations Administrative Assistant <\/b>to support the coordination of park activities and operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Primary Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Assist with scheduling fields for practices and games. <\/span><\/li>\n
        • Create rosters\/teams for sports programs.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Help coordinate groundskeeping schedules and assignments.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Oversee concessions assignments.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Support the team with additional tasks, as needed.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Experience with <\/span>QuickBooks <\/b>and <\/span>WordPress <\/b>is helpful but not required.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Position Details:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

              • <\/span>Hours: <\/b>Flexible work hours schedule, with some evenings and Saturdays required. Hybrid remote schedule during summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n

                Part-Time (Seasonal) Groundskeeping & Maintenance Staff Winnebago Park District (WPD)\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

                The <\/span>Winnebago Park District (WPD) <\/b>is seeking one to two Seasonal <\/strong><\/span>Part-Time Groundskeeping & Maintenance Staff <\/b>to help maintain and enhance our parks and recreational spaces. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining public spaces, and can work independently with attention to detail. Position is available from mid-late March through October.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

                Primary Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

                  \n
                • Perform mowing and weed control to maintain park fields and grounds.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Prepare and maintain baseball diamonds, athletic fields, and green spaces.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Paint field markings as needed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Conduct general maintenance tasks, including power washing, painting, and minor repairs.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                • Assist with special projects and additional tasks as directed by the park district director.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Qualifications & Skills:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

                  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • Experience operating a zero-turn mower and weed whacker.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                  • A valid driver\u2019s license is preferred to operate park district vehicles as needed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Position Details: <\/b><\/p>\n

                    Schedule: <\/b>Seasonal position with flexible daytime hours, including occasional weekends based on weather conditions. <\/span><\/p>\n

                    Weekly Hours: <\/b>10-20 hours per week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
