Summer Fun – Kids camp!

REGISTRATION TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT WILL OPEN ON 3/1/26. REGISTRATION FOR CAMP DATES OPENS ON 3/15/26. YOU MUST PAY YOUR $30 SPOT RESERVATION FEE IN ORDER TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN ON 3/15/26. Starting June 2 through August 6, 2026, the Winnebago Park District offers 3 days of fun and exciting activities from 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The fun will be staffed by experienced counselors and supervised by WPD. The goal of Summer Fun is to provide campers the opportunity to build friendships and social skills while having FUN through a variety of our engaging and exhilarating themed weeks. Whether your camper is interested in arts, science or sports, our themes are designed to be fun and interactive for all.

Age Requirement: All campers must be going into 1st – 6th grades. Exceptions can be made for kindergartners if there’s an older sibling attending, upon approval of the park director.

Attire: Campers will need a labeled backpack with a change of clothes, sunscreen, and shoes to run and play in daily. Staff will let you know in advance when your camper is entering a themed week that may require him/her to pack additional items.

Meals: Campers must bring a packed lunch and water bottle. WPD will provide 1 morning snack to all campers.

Location: All campers will be dropped off and picked up at the WPD office located at 301 N. Church St in Winnebago. The majority of camp days will be held at the Winnebago Sports Park with special outings and field trips.

Cost: A $30 registration fee must be paid per family by March 15, 2026, to guarantee your spot. Payment for the first week that your child/children attend must be paid in full 2 weeks prior so the staff has an idea of how many kids are attending each week. Planning for supplies and snacks will depend on the number of participants we have in attendance each week. Camp fees are per child with a discount given for additional child and also for attending all three days each week.
