Winnebago Sports Park

The Winnebago Sports Park is open to the public from dawn to dusk daily except on special event nights. The Tennis and Basketball Courts are open Dawn till 10 p.m. Parking is available in the designated paved area and on the gravel. Additional parking is available behind Jean McNair School after school hours. Please do not park in the grass. Paths in the Sports Park are for walking purposes only. Please do not drive vehicles on the paths. Snowmobiles are not allowed in the Sports Park except on the groomed trail connecting to the Trail Head. The Sports Park is a weapons-free, smoke-free, vape-free, drug-free, and alcohol-free facility. Also please use respectful language within the Sports Park.

The Winnebago Sports Park provides fun activities for all ages. Enjoy a game of tennis or a pickup game of basketball on the full outside courts equipped with lights to play at night. Please no skates, blades, skateboards, bikes, or cleats allowed on or near the Tennis courts and Basketball courts. The Dylan Mastroianni Playground provides a place for kids 0-12 years old to enjoy. Ride or walk on the walking path that winds through the Park. Four times around the circle is 1.13 miles. There is plenty of open space to play soccer and football along with 2 fields for Baseball and Softball play.

Working on a budget of about $110,000 in tax revenue per year, the park board is very dependent on grants, gifts, and volunteer labor.
