Eastland Girls Basketball League

Program open to GIRLS who are serious in developing their basketball skills in grades 5th-8th attending Winnebago Schools. Teams are divided by grade level.  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

Practices:  Twice a week in a Winnebago Gym. Dates/Times TBD.

Season Game Dates: Sundays. October 19 – November 23, 2024
Game Locations:  Eastland, Shannon or Lanark

  • Registration Fee:  $40 + cost of jersey if you don’t have one already

Kinder-1st Grade

Program open to BOYS and GIRLS in Kindergarten – 1st grade to teach the fundamental skills of playing basketball thru drills and games.

Practices:  Weekdays from 6-8 p.m. Starting November 2024

Games: Saturdays starting November 2024

  • Registration Fee:  $50 District residents; $60 Out of District residents

2nd-3rd Grade
Program open to BOYS and GIRLS in 2nd – 3rd grade to teach the fundamental skills of playing basketball thru drills and games.

Practices:  Weekdays from 6-8 p.m. Starting January 2025

Games: Saturdays starting February 2025

• Registration Deadline: January 13, 2025

• Registration Fee:  $55 District residents; $65 Out of District residents

Art Sadtler League is for girls and boys who are interested in playing basketball in a girls only/boys only league. The league will consist of different school teams from around the area. Players will still be playing for the Winnebago Park District with practices here in Winnebago gyms.  Games will be held in various locations in Rockford with one-two Home games in Winnebago.
